Beautiful Italian Politician Mara Carfagna

Maria Rosaria Carfagna was born December 18, 1975, in Salerno, Italy. Her father was a teacher/ principal and her mother was a teacher as well. Mara Carfagna has been said to have had a pretty traditional and conservative upbringing, learning how to play piano as well as studying dance. She attended Scientific High School and, in 2001, she graduated from the University of Salerno with a degree in law

After finishing her education, Mara Carfagna started auditioning for beauty pageants, including 1997's Miss Italy. She finished in sixth place. She used the experience of the pageant to pursue a television broadcast job she took on next for the television company Mediaset, which was owned by Silvio Berlusconi, who would later be Italy's prime minister.
